    **Dumb question alert**

    Just say that the ICC issues the arrest warrant for Mr. Albashir… how much power do they have in arresting him and then prosecuting him?

    Like, just say they issue the arrest warrant: if no one turns him in to wherever it is they should turn him in to, can they forcibly remove him from wherever he is and then prosecute him?

    No but imagine having a President who can’t travel abroad.

    It’s a huge blow to his persona in the run up to the 2009 elections.

    There are those in Sudan’s political circles who secretly support this move and want to debilitate the NCP through it.

    It’s ridiculous but much as we’d like to wish it was fiction, it’s real…

    Just what we needed – definitely not what we deserve!
